The only school currently in the UAE that teaches in Russian according to Russian standards has a "Good" status in the KHDA rating. Graduates receive a Russian certificate. In the near future, more schools for Russian speakers may open in the United Arab Emirates. This proposal was made in March 2023 by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Kravtsov at a meeting with the Minister of State for General Education and Advanced Technologies of the UAE, Sarah Al-Amiri.
